The "3D Piping Symbols Library v1.0" is a drafting tool to help piping draftsmen and designers quickly create 3D piping models in order to generate 2D plan, section and elevation drawings.

User friendly interface
No need to browse through folders every time you need to insert a symbol. Simply point and click in the menu to choose from a wide range of 3D piping symbols.
After you make your selection, the 3D symbol appears on your cursor. Insert it in your drawing and rotate to the desired position.

About the blocks
  • Each symbol is drawn as a solid model on layer zero with "bylayer" attributes.
  • Once inserted, simply rotate the symbol into position and it will take on the characteristics of your current layer settings.
  • All symbols contain hidden and user defined attributes. When your layout is complete, run Attribute Extraction to create a Bill of Material. Instructions are included.
  • Pipe fitting insertion points are located at the intersection of the pipe centerline.
  • All flanged fittings and valves include bolt holes.
